Hull Optimizer
Structural Integrity = 200 − (7 × total weight²) / (25 × total frame), capped between 0% and 200%. Effective HP = Hull × (Integrity / 100).
Only hull, wing, and cockpit pieces carry weight and frame in this game's data — every other module is weightless. That means integrity never suffers from equipment, only from chaining many hull blocks together: each identical block you add contributes weight faster (squared) than frame (linear), so integrity drops a fixed amount per copy. A ship stays above the 20% floor only up to a maximum block count — bigger cross-section pieces (e.g. the 6×2 family) push that ceiling much further than tall, thin blocks.
